Le Point publishes its list of management schools.
Press release from Fouziya Bouzerda, Director et Dean GEM, to Alumni.
"Dear Alumni,
This message follows the one shared with you on the Etudiant ranking. Le Point published its “Grandes Ecoles” ranking on Wednesday for the online subscription version and yesterday for the paper version. GEM is ranked 13th.
This is a rather severe analysis from which we have learned the lessons and we are already mobilizing collectively to regain our place at the highest level of these rankings, in the top 10 and even more.
These projects are carried out with a new management team that relies on feedback from the various stakeholders to improve the training.
- Fouziya Bouzerda, new Director and Dean of Grenoble Ecole de Management, who took up her post six months ago, has the ambition to reinvent the school and strengthen its position as an influential, innovative and attractive school.
- Phillippe Monin, the new Academic Director who will take up his post at the beginning of April and will be in charge of reinforcing GEM's programmes, making them evolve and adapting them to current transformations.
- Annelaure Oudinot, the new Director of the Programme Grande Ecole, who took up her post in June 2022, and is already involved in piloting new projects with the help of the GEM teams.
To continue on a more positive note: Le Point has chosen this year to publish a top of the "10 schools most committed to the ecological transition". GEM is ranked at the top of this list, in first place with 95 points out of a total of 100. We are ahead of two other schools with a "Société à Mission" status: Toulouse Business School, in 2nd place and emlyon, in 3rd place.
This performance is the result of fifteen years of commitment by our school to sustainability since the signing of the Global Compact in 2007. Obtaining the SD&RS label, the decision to become a "Société à Mission" in 2021, the courses offered, the research and articles published in the field of ecological transition are all actions that support this result.
You can rely on my commitment and that of the entire GEM executive committee to work with determination and to take up this strategic challenge for the School."
