GEM Alumni: Contribute to the life of the Network, the students or the School!
Commitment can take many forms, in this space we offer you different ways to get involved, share your experience, and / or come and participate in the school's events!
Participate in the #GEMAlumni Network :
Share news with the #GEMAlumni Network
Want to highlight your own accomplishments or those of your peers? Two possibilities:
- Share it directly on our website’s timeline and/or the official GEM Alumni accounts on Facebook & LinkedIn.
- Let us know about it! We’re always on the hunt for relevant stories to share on our GEM Alumni accounts, we’ll take care of posting it!
Share your news
Sharing your news contributes to highlighting our network’s diversity and variety of talents.
Give a testimonial
Whether you’d like to take part in an interview or present at a conference, we have several options available to choose from:
- Be interviewed by a member of our Buzz Squad (see below). The article will be shared through the different GEM Alumni channels.
- Present to your peers during a GEM Alumni get-together near you. These are typically afterwork events organized by our Alumnizers.
- In Grenoble: come back to campus to speak to students around a coffee. This would be in partnership with the student association "La Corpo".
- In Paris: Be a speaker at our annual GEM Alumni Convention. You will collaborate with one of GEM’s faculty members to prepare a presentation (themes vary from year to year).
Lead or co-lead an alumni community
Want to find our who your peers are, get to know them, and strengthen your personal or professional network? Becoming a community coordinator will put you at the center of the action and provide you a way to establish quality connections with other members of our network.
This type of engagement is what help our network live and grow. Today, there are approximately 80 coordinators around the world dedicated to helping our network flourish.
We call them the “Alumnizers”!
They are identified by these badges on our site.
If you have some free time and a desire to contribute to a medium-term framework between 18 - 24 months, apply to lead a geographical or professional community. This commitment requires an investment of at least 30 minutes per week and 3-8 evenings per year.
Partake in student life :
Speak at one of our "bootcamps"
Grenoble or Paris - 1/2 day time commitment (presentation +exchanges) in French or English
The bootcamps were created to give students and companies a chance to interact. They are organized by the GEM Career Center who invites companies to choose 1-2 alumni to participate.
This interactive format provides an opportunity for you to explain your career and evaluate the skillsets of GEM students in a convivial way.
The themes for this year are: Finance, Marketing, Consulting & Business Development.
Want to pitch the idea to your company, find out additional info or see the calendar of events?
Propose a Live Business Case
Your company has a business issue to solve, and you would like students to work on it and provide several ideas? Send us your case so that we can get students and professors to tackle the topic.
- If the topic concerns Information Systems and digitalisation : submit a case to students in the EMSI program
- Starting your business, in the development phase or need a right hand man to help with communications? Put together a group of 3-4 MS Entrepreneurs students (with more specific topics such as entrepreneurship communication, creation, development or corporate difficulties.
Present in class
Comfortable with public speaking, you feel ready to share your expertise and skills in a formal educational framework. To do this, alumni need to send their candidacy to speak in:
- continued education programs
- programs more oriented towards Information Systems
Participate at school
Participate in entrance & exit exam boards
All year long, come evaluate the aptitude of students to enter our school, validate their academic year or present their final year thesis/projects. Some of the examination sessions are held in English, so you are most welcome to take part in it.
The Jurys are also a great opportunity to catch up with your fellow alumni or to organize an event with alumni from the same graduating class, former members of a student association, or the same community.
GEM Alumni that are jury members have this badge displayed on their profile.
Share a business opportunity with our Executive Education teams
If your company is exploring training opportunities or you're considering the possibility of offering your team members a chance to further develop their skills, GEM's Executive Education team is available to help guide you through GEM's continuing education offers and choose the right solution to meet your needs.

Support a Research Chair
Grenoble Ecole de Management's research department has several chairs that are partially funded thanks to support from corporate partners.
For example, Tessi supports the Digital Organization & Society Chair. As part of this partnership, Jean-Luc Vecchio, GEM PGE 1994, is a member of the chair's scientific and strategic committee.
