The GEM Gala is getting bigger and BETTER by adapting to different audiences. For the 2018 edition, weve created the GEM Alumni Lounge (open from 4PM), open exclusively to alumni. A variety of professional and festive activities will be available late into the night
Grenoble Ecole de Management’s Gala is the Networking Event OF THE YEAR
The Gala brings together seasoned alumni, the graduating class of 2017 and their guests, GEM’s teachers & staff, as well as several alumni leaders from our GEM Alumni chapters around the world.
This multi-faceted event includes the 2017 graduation ceremony for all GEM programs, a gala dinner, the GEM of the Year Awards Ceremony to thank our most involved alumni, and a festive evening with two huge dance floors!
THE SPACES AND MOMENTS DEDICATED TO OUR ALUMNI*
Parking & VIP Entrance
Participating alumni will be welcomed from 3 :30PM. You’ll enter through the VIP entrance located at Alpexpo’s “Espace Pelvoux” on the “Avenue Innsbruck” side of the building (Exit 6 off the Rocade).
Private Reception Hall: The GEM Alumni Lounge
Just above the main entrance hall, a reception area of 800 square meters offers an unobstructed birds-eye view over the rest of the venue.
From 4PM, we’ll kick off the evening in “professional mode”. With the goal of offering opportunities for “life-long learning”, we’ve invited Jean-Philippe, GEM ESC 1998, Director of the Brand Peugeot, to moderate a round table discussion around the theme of “branding”.
A cocktail will follow, allowing you time to develop your network and exchange with your peers from different sectors and countries, some of whom represent our GEM Alumni chapters around the world.
The classes of 1988, 1998, and 2008 are the special guests of the evening since they’re celebrating their class reunions.
Dining: Gala Dinner & GEM of the Year Awards Ceremony
We’ll join the class of 2017 and their guests for the gala dinner and the GEM of the Year Awards Ceremony. The new graduation class will be seated by program. The alumni will be seated at themed tables such as francophones, anglophones, or graduating class.
Dance floors or VIP Lounge
Following the Gala dinner and the rock dancing contest, alumni have the choice to return to the cozy VIP Lounge or to dance the night away on one of the dance floors.
DJ Vince Taylor, alias Vincent GEM ESC 2008, will be mixing for the “Alumni” dancefloor where he’ll be bringing the heat as always! The second dancefloor will feature DJs mixing today’s hits !
