Merzak Meddah, a graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Electro Dépôt Group, succeeding Béatrice Héricourt. He will work alongside Stéphane March, President of Electro Dépôt, as of January 1, 2025.
At 37 years old, Merzak Meddah joined Electro Dépôt in 2017 as Accounting Manager after gaining experience at PwC. Promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2020, he became Group Chief Financial Officer of United.b in 2022 before his recent appointment.
His mission: to align Electro Dépôt’s DNA with sustainable growth objectives and strengthen its international presence.

ELECTRO DEPOT is part of the United.b group (Boulanger, Krëfel, etc.). Founded in August 2003, this concept draws significant inspiration from American and European low-cost retailers (e.g., COSTCO or COLRUYT).
ELECTRO DÉPÔT addresses all household equipment needs (appliances, electronics, multimedia, etc.). Located on the outskirts of large cities, the stores cover areas of 1,500 to 2,000 m² and focus on simplicity. With no superfluous decoration, the priority is placed on products and pricing.
