The GEM Alumni network is diverse, Anglophone and Francophone, and so are the chapters that reflect us and bring us together. Whether they are geographical, thematic, or groups by graduating class or program... we have made our site evolve to meet everyone's expectations!
The backbone of the network: the directory
Our network is based on our directory; everyone is responsible for their own profile, for the quality of the information they provide to their peers in order to facilitate:
- Contacts
- Meet ups
- Effective networking (e.g. talent hunting, recruitment, etc.).
Updates: :
- A modern display of our profiles
- Stricter management of data confidentiality
- Access to the directory of all GEM graduates with improved search and filter functions.
To be displayed correctly and facilitate contact, we advise you to:
- Keep your profile information up to date: company, position, region...
- Configure the confidentiality of your information
A tool to revitalize our chapters
Today, our network relies a lot on social networks, which is not always ideal. Managing groups is complex and not always adapted to the needs of the life of our chapters or the volunteers that coordinate them.
Updates:
- A true delegation of the network's activity to the volunteers who keep it up and running
- A secure creation of new groups
- A newsfeed to share activity
- Protected photo sharing galleries in each group.
Clearer management of your activities and contacts
Updates:
- A global calendar of events across all regions,
- Possibility of subscribing to communications from several chapters (ex: Bordeaux + Paris + Finance...)
- The creation of a personal address book using the contacts you make in the directory in order to keep a personal link after meeting or being introduced to someone.
- Exchanges by chat
A simple log in
To make access to the platform easy from the first connection, our usernames and passwords do not change!
Discover or re-discover:
The "Nostalgia " tab
In this new tab, discover the history of our network, from its creation to present day. Check out the "vintage" photos of the first years of our school's history, and why not share yours with us!?
The key elements of our network
- The winners of the GEM of the Year Awards, which have been around since 2011,
- The first 8 issues of the GEM Alumni Mag, since 2016!
Upcoming changes:
From the start of the 2020 academic year, a Mentoring platform and a job offer thread dedicated solely to job offers for GEM graduates will be deployed.
