The Etudiant 2023 ranking

We learned about the Etudiant 2023 ranking. The methodology of this new edition has evolved considerably this year and has not been favorable to us.

GEM is ranked in 13th position (9th in 2022) based on the data submitted for the 2021/22 academic year.

It was important for us to share this information, which we know is very important to you.

We are all extremely surprised and touched by this very harsh ranking which does not seem to us to really reflect the quality of our institution and of our Grande Ecole Program.

However, rankings are an indicator that we accept and respect, whatever their results and whatever the methodologies of the of the media that produce the rankings. They are an important competitive marker, to be taken as a whole.

Let us recall that GEM was ranked 7th in France in the Shanghai Business Administration ranking in July 2022, 8th in Le Figaro in November 2022 and 10th in Challenges in December 2022.

Today, at the very beginning of 2023, many actions have already been implemented to initiate major changes in our school by our new director and dean.

The life of a school is like that of a company: we must constantly reinvent ourselves, continue to innovate, make the right decisions and keep a cool head in order to progress and improve.
