Thibault Varin, PGE 2014, appointed Head of Development and Partner at NCI
A graduate of GEM's Grande École Program (PGE) in 2014, Thibault Varin has reached a new milestone in his professional career with his appointment as Head of Development at NCI.
This promotion recognizes nearly seven years of commitment within the investment firm, where he has supported portfolio company executives in addressing growth and transformation challenges.
At 37, Thibault Varin has built a career focused on helping companies achieve their strategic ambitions. After graduating from GEM, he began his career at Neovian Partners, a strategy consulting firm, where he advised SMEs and mid-sized companies on international expansion, external growth, and market analysis projects.
He then joined Groupe Roullier as a Strategic Development Project Manager. Working alongside the executive leadership teams of several subsidiaries, he contributed to identifying and assessing new growth opportunities both in France and internationally.
Originally from Normandy, he joined NCI in 2018 as part of the Performance Division. For seven years, he has supported portfolio company executives in defining and implementing their development strategies, whether through organic growth, acquisitions, or expansion into new markets.
A Dual Promotion: Head of Development and Partner
In his new position, Thibault Varin is expanding his scope of responsibilities to contribute to NCI's strategic development. He will support the partners in structuring fundraising initiatives and further strengthen investor relations activities, both of which are key to supporting the firm's growth ambitions.
This appointment is also accompanied by his promotion to Partner at NCI. The recognition reflects both his journey within the firm and his contribution to its development since joining in 2018, as well as the expertise he has brought to supporting portfolio companies.
