Agnès Butterlin, PGE 1992, has just been appointed Group Chief Financial Officer at Thuasne, a leading international player in the field of textile medical devices.
A career spanning more than 30 years in finance and international development
A graduate of the Programme Grande Ecole in 1992, Agnès Butterlin began her career at PwC, where she trained in auditing and financial consulting. She then pursued a rich 30-year career in international financial management, mainly in the energy and industrial sectors, with solid expertise in mergers and acquisitions.
From 2020 to 2024, she was Chief Financial Officer, Purchasing, Legal and Sustainable Development at Terega, a leading company in the field of gas infrastructure.
A strategic appointment at Thuasne
In her new role as Group Chief Financial Officer, Agnès Butterlin is responsible for three key areas:
- finance,
- legal affairs,
- and CSR.
A constant link with GEM
Throughout her career, Agnès has remained attached to GEM and the GEM Alumni community.
Although she often travels internationally, she has participated in PGE recruitment as a member of the jury and has not missed any of her class's anniversaries, in 2012 or 2022.
She is the mentor for the class of 2022 and spoke about her role as Chief Financial Officer in GEM Alumni Mag n° 8.
Recently, she also contributed to the training of new generations of talent by teaching an M3 financial analysis course for work-study students on the Pantin campus between October 2025 and February 2026.
