Alkis Meletiou , GEM MSc 2016, joins TikTok as Client Partner, Omnichannel Retail

After nearly 6 years at Google, Alkis Meletiou , GEM MSc 2016,  joins TikTok as  Client Partner, Omnichannel Retail in Dubai.

Upon graduating from GEM, Alkis got an internship with Cheetah Ad Platform in Paris as an Account Executive. In February 2016, he joined Google Ireland as an Account Strategist and was later promoted to Agency Account Manager in charge of the Greek market  before expanding his responsibility to cover Cyprus and the Balkans.

His career at Google continued to grow  and he was promoted to Key Account Manager where he partnered with Google’s largest retail advertisers in the MENA region. 

In August 2021, Alkis made the move from Dublin to Dubai to take on his new roll at TikTok.  

In September 2021, TikTok revealed it reached one billion active global users, making it the fastest growing app of 2020, and one of the fastest growing social media networks of all time.
