GEM Graduation Ceremonies 2026: two unforgettable moments to celebrate the Class of 2025
On February 28 and March 7, GEM celebrated its Class of 2025 graduates at two major events: a first ceremony on the GEM Alpes Campus, followed by a second at the Palais des Sports in Grenoble, bringing together several thousand participants.
Two highlights, co-organized with the student association Le Gala, marked by emotion, inspiration, and pride in seeing the new graduating class join the GEM Alumni community, which boasts more than 50,000 graduates worldwide.
February 28 – A ceremony dedicated to MBA, DBA, and PhD graduates
This first ceremony honored graduates of the MBA, DBA, and PhD programs. It was a symbolic milestone for careers marked by academic commitment, research, expertise, and perseverance.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Thomas Quartier, DBA 2025, an expert in Lean Agile and DevOps transformations in the public sector—where he supports organizations in the creation and operation of complex digital systems serving citizens—shared a powerful message about the impact of applied research. He reminded the audience that a degree represents much more than academic validation:

“A light — something that allows you to discover the things that others cannot see, and to understand how people interact in very complex situations.”
Drawing on his expertise in Q-methodology, he showed how scientific rigor can contribute to the common good and inspire action.
This warm and solemn ceremony celebrated a cohort of international graduates ready to transform their expertise into real impact.

March 7 – A ceremony dedicated to BIB, MS, MSc, PGE, and BDBD graduates
On March 7, GEM returned to the Palais des Sports for the grand annual ceremony for the BIB, MS, MSc, PGE, and BDBD programs. Nearly 4,000 people were in attendance to experience this unique moment.
With spectacular staging, the ceremony offered a real show:
- a 360° stage,
- a parade of graduates around the central stage in Olympic style,
- artistic performances by talented members of the school: singers, musicians, dancers, cheerleaders, and more.
It was a festive, solemn, and highly emotional moment for both the graduates and their loved ones.
Two inspiring role models

Maegan Rocca, BIB 2016, founder of Novëm, an innovative cosmetics brand based on walnuts.
She recounted a journey marked by doubts, boldness, and gradual progress, reminding graduates:
“Keep the fire that drives you burning. Keep growing, keep building. It's hard, but you're going to love it.”

Chun Wing Lam, PGE 2022 - IFC 2019, dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet and founder of Wing Patrimoine, a wealth management consulting firm.
He shared an intimate message inspired by his grandmother's words:
“If something is meant for you, it will eventually come to you.”
A touching reflection on courage, detours, and trust, received with great emotion by the class of 2025.
