My DBA journey in GEM is full of challenges, surprises, joys, and rewards. It realized my academic dream and laid the foundation for my “hobby” for research. Since the journey started, I have been engaged in the academic world through continuing research, attending academic conferences, and publications. My DBA supervisors have become my life-long friends, co-authors, and collaborators for continuing research. The DBA not only opened new horizons for my career in business but also enabled me to teach in universities in my part time. It’s one of the best investments that I have done in my life.
