GEM Start'up of the year
Living as an expat in Southeast Asia for the past decade, Grégoire Martel (2006 graduate and in GEM's incubator from 2004 to 2006) is an entrepreneur in new technologies.
Newlogic
Grégoire has most notably co-founded Newlogic, a software consultancy based in Singapore, which specializes in biometrics and blockchain. Last June, Grégoire and his associates won the $100,000 first prize at the Hong Kong EOS Global Blockchain Hackathon for their project ID PASS.
ID PASS provides an open source platform that delivers trusted digital identification to 1.1 billion people who lack means to prove their identity and thus cannot access basic services such as education, healthcare and legal assistance.
Awards Ceremony
The 4 categories: “GEM Athlete of the Year”, “GEM Entrepreneur of the Year”, “GEM Startup of the Year”, and “GEM of the Year” will be awarded to recipients at the GEM GALA on February 2nd, 2019 at Grenoble’s Summum.
