2018 GEM of the Year Awards: Laura Tarantola GEM IFC 2017 GEM ESC 2019 "GEM Athlete of the Year"
Every year the GEM Alumni network awards the GEM Trophies. The award-winners are chosen among the graduates who are enhancing GEM's reputation and brand.
Meet Laura Tarantola GEM IFC 2017 – GEM ESC 2019, whose success demonstrates that GEM’s expertise in Management of Technology and Innovation are excellent tools that pave the way for extraordinary achievements.
GEM Athlete of the Year
Laura has been rowing since she was 14 years old and has been crowned French Champion no less than 13 times. She is this year's World Champion (Women's Single Sculls) and is now training towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games as a member of the French team.
Enthusiastic, cheerful and organized, she manages perfectly both as an athlete and as a student in GEM's Grande Ecole Master's program.
Upon graduation, Laura has the ambition of working in marketing and communication.
Awards Ceremony
The 4 categories: “GEM Athlete of the Year”, “GEM Entrepreneur of the Year”, “GEM Startup of the Year”, and “GEM of the Year” will be awarded to recipients at the GEM GALA on February 2nd, 2019 at Grenoble’s Summum.
