Daniel Gomez Leyva, MSc Finance 2017, named in Citywire Selector 40 Under 40 – Class of 2025

Daniel Gomez Leyva, graduate of Grenoble École de Management, Portfolio Manager based in Luxembourg, has been selected as one of Europe’s top 40 investment professionals under the age of 40 in the Citywire Selector 40 Under 40 – Class of 2025.

Currently managing a €1bn multi-asset defined benefit pension portfolio at Klarphos, Daniel leads trading across ETFs, derivatives, FX, fixed income, and equities. He also drives strategic asset allocation (SAA), tactical asset allocation (TAA), and asset-liability management (ALM), while contributing to quantitative research and mentoring junior team members.

Prior to joining Klarphos in 2022, Daniel spent six years at Deutsche Bank, where he held successive roles as Investment Analyst, Investment Specialist, and Portfolio Manager within the Wealth Management division.

His inclusion in the Citywire ranking highlights not only his technical expertise and leadership, but also his commitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation in asset management.
