Mathieu Toulemonde, PGE 2012, wins ChangeNOW award for his commitment to sustainable agriculture
Mathieu Toulemonde, a Grenoble Ecole de Management graduate and founder of Agoterra, was awarded the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Environmental and Social Entrepreneur Prize at the ChangeNOW ecological transition trade show, held in Paris from April 24 to 26.
This prize highlights impact entrepreneurs whose projects address the major environmental and social challenges of our time, and is accompanied by two months' strategic support from BCG consultants, enabling Agoterra to put into practice an ambitious new initiative to deploy financing for agricultural transition on a large scale.
Agoterra, a human adventure.
Founded five years ago, Agoterra supports over 3,000 farmers in France and Europe in their transition to regenerative, low-carbon agriculture, with the backing of over 100 committed companies.
The aim: to enhance the value of the farming profession and accelerate the agro-ecological transition within value chains.
Every year, ChangeNOW showcases over 1,000 solutions designed to respond to urgent climatic, social and environmental issues. The event brings together innovators, investors, companies and institutions around a common mission: to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world..
